Wireline double-tube core barrel for BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ and SQ coring — retrieve the core without pulling the drill rods.

Overview

The wireline double-tube core barrel consists of an outer tube assembly and an inner tube assembly. The outer tube assembly includes the locking coupling, adaptor coupling, landing ring, outer tube, stabilizer, reaming shell and bit (diamond bit and reaming shell are not included in the quotation). The inner tube assembly includes the head assembly, inner tube, stop ring, core lifter and core lifter case. Both outer and inner tubes are available in 3M and 1.5M lengths.

With a wireline core barrel, the inner tube with the core can be retrieved from inside the drill rods by overshot, without pulling the whole drill string — saving time and labor, especially in deep holes.
